Lucia Watson Gets French Knighthood - Lunch October 9

Congrats, Lucia. The French Ministry of Agriculture is officially recognizing Lucia Watson's contributions to gastronomy. According to the announcement, " Over the past 24 years, Lucia’s Restaurant has become a Twin Cities’ benchmark for fresh, creative cuisine, rooted in sustainable agriculture. Chef/owner Lucia Watson’s approach has contributed to Minnesota’s growing embrace of great food, which is why the French Ministry of Agriculture is knighting her “Chevalier du Merite Agricole.”
The honor will be celebrated in the best French fashion with a lunch of locally produced natural foods - and French wines - on October 9 at Windows on Minnesota, on the 50th floor of the IDS Center. Cost of the lunch is $45 - of which $10 is a tax-deductible contribution, shared between The Youth Farm and Market Project, the Institute for Agriculture & Trade Policy, and the Alliance Française.
